I hope you are all well. I have been lucky enough to spot some of you out and about enjoying some time with your family, which has been lovely to see. So this week I have decided to show you how to” sign” some of your family members.
Signing doesn’t have to be limited to children with a hearing loss, it is also a great way for babies to start communicating and help reduce frustrations. Your child will understand the signs you are making quite quickly but it will normally take much longer for them to perform them. Their signs might differ from yours until they are able to perfect the hand gesture but this is perfectly okay as it should still be obvious what they wish to communicate to you.
Next week I intend on doing some animal signs but if anyone has any other signs they would like to learn, please just let me know in the comments 🙂
