It was a chilly morning in the garden today but the warm fire and a tasty mug of soup was just perfect.
Thank you to the parents and family members who took time to stay and play with us today. There is more play tomorrow at 9am and 3pm in the Discovery Room.
It’s Stay and Play time next week and we are looking forward to welcoming our parents, carers and family members to play, have fun and learn alongside their child.
We have a variety of learning experiences planned which will take place at 9am and 3pm each day from Monday 27th January to Friday 31st January. However, if you cannot make these times you are very welcome to stay and play with your child at any time during the week from 8am to 6pm.
The children and staff are looking forward to sharing their learning through play with you so please come along!
Stay and Play Week Jan 2020
What a wonderful time the children had sharing their play experiences with their families this week.
Our science experiments, where the children were investigating how different substances react. ‘pop’ and ‘fizz’.
Inspired by the fireworks this week the children wished to create their own artwork and decided to use marbles to create the ‘bangs’.
Making cupcakes together, yum!
Inspired by some borrowed instruments, the children enjoyed expressing themselves and encouraged their parents participation in their jamming sessions.
It’s Stay and Play Week from Monday 4th to Friday 8th November. We have a selection of experiences that staff will lead across the week that we hope you will be able to come along to. Please click on the link below to view the timetable.
We welcome parents and other family members at any time next week so that you can experience play alongside your child.
We look forward to seeing you next week!
