Forest fun in the sun

Today was our second day for forest school and we did a great job of remembering the rules; we all stand in a circle called sticky toes.

To mark out our boundaries we make sure we can still see each other.

we had great fun just hanging around.

Before sitting down for a snack of hot chocolate and a biscuit, yum yum.

We had a really time busy digging and investigating the leaves with our magnifying glass.

Even the horses came over to say hello before we left.

Merry Christmas to all

There were some very excited children in the centre today. As it was cold and frosty we thought it would be a good idea to light the fire and sing some Christmas songs around it, while drinking delicious hot chocolate.
We hope all the Cart Mill family have a wonderful and safe festive period.
Merry Christmas, and a very happy New Year from us all.
Thank you to all for the most generous gifts you have handed in for the staff, it is very much appreciated.

Bye bye Forest!

Our final day in the forest today and the sun shone for us. After a frosty start it turned into the perfect autumnal day, we saw brambles, rose hips and lots of leaves that were starting to get their brown autumn coats. To warm ourselves up we thought hot chocolate and marshmallows would be the order of the day to finish off our Forest adventure. I don’t think we were the only visitors to the forest who wanted some yummy hot chocolate!
