It has been brilliant welcoming all our brand new P7s back to KPS.  There have been a lot of changes but we are so impressed with how settled and adaptable you all are.  There has been much excitement and eagerness to get going with our new iPads and we have already started seeing how they can enhance our learning.

P7A had to sketch a self portrait as part of a Health and Well-being task.  In the past we would have been hunting around for mirrors but a quick selfie and we could draw ourselves easily.  We could even zoom in to get a better look!

It has been a busy, different and tiring first week back at Kingsland but it has been so lovely to see you all again. Answer the three questions and post your answers in the comments.

In Primary 1 we have been building using lots of different materials.

In Primary 1 today we were using plasticine. We had to use our fingers to squash and squeeze the plasticine to make it soft. We rolled it into balls and made different shapes.

Primary 1 enjoyed sharing the story of the Gruffalo.

We talked about what the Gruffalo looked like and drew him with our black pens .

Today in Primary 1 we used number cards to build a number line. We made different numbers using cubes.

Primary 1 enjoyed exploring the different areas around the school.

Primary 1 have been very busy since starting school,  working hard learning new routines, exploring their classroom and the school grounds and having fun playing together.
