We are looking forward to Dalguise in P7 and we are looking forward to having Mrs Belleville as our teacher in P7. We have learnt lots in P6 and have enjoyed the cricket festival and using laptops. We have enjoyed P6 and will take on what we know into P7.

ORANGE ATTACK

Today we finally launched our orange attack on our own castles. We could pick a huge orange if we were brave and confident or we could choose a little clementine if we were worried that our castle would not withstand our attack.

What was the result ?

The Lego castles fared the worst and many collapsed when they were under aerial attack !

It was a great way to spend  a sunny afternoon in the playground and we got to see the amazing castle designs the other classes came up with. We had followed the design brief and most of our castles stayed intact?

This was more than could be said for the oranges and clementines !

Thank you to all who helped at home with the castles. The children have really enjoyed looking at and exploring the models.

Today P4 showed us their amazing Gardener’s café homework. We are all very impressed. Look at our recipes, the food we made (yummy)  photos we took and PowerPoints, which are non-linear!!

Sorry I couldn’t put in your work that had photos of you on it.

Yesterday we enjoyed seeing all the hard work of P4B in their amazing Gardener’s Café homework and today some of them came to see our fabulous work. What a talented bunch you are P4!

How we improved our playground for us and for bugs

Last Thursday we planted our Bizzie Lizzie plants and our tallest sunflowers outside in the playground. The hot sun has made our Bizzie Lizzie plants droop. We also planted the basil that we grew from seeds into small pots.

While some people were planting the other pupils got some twigs and string and made Bug Homes. By Emily and Aimee

It was really fun – Aimee

It made our playground look a lot nicer – Emily
