Being a good audience

Primary 2 have been learning about what it takes to be a good audience member. We have listened carefully to other people performing their poems and songs. We especially enjoyed listening to children who were learning to play musical instruments.

The pipers were very good at playing the whole school into the hall for Scottish Afternoon. It made some of us feel good, excited and proud.

Congratulations to all the poetry winners and musical performers. We had a fantastic afternoon !

21.01.19 P7B Review of the week

DJ – I liked basketball with Mrs Fletcher because I like playing team sports. I find it fun.

Incredible Inventors Homework!

P4 shared their Inventors homework at the end of block 2 – it was fantastic to see all the hard work that had gone on at home, and to see which tasks everyone had chosen. Everyone’s homework was incredible! Mrs Stevenson and Mrs Wallace were so impressed and proud of you all!

Below are some pictures of P4a’s amazing homework – I tried my best to take a photo of all of them and include them all, but think I may have missed some. So sorry if it’s your homework I have missed!

P3B Sustainability Squad Pledge

Our Sustainability Squad asked every class to make a pledge after their Sustainability assembly.

P3B pledged to tell their adults about how long it takes for plastic to rot away and to encourage their adults to recycle plastic.

Each pupil has made a leaflet to take home to explain more about this. Our leaflets will be in our school bags today.

Four leaflets were chosen to give to the Sustainability Squad; Well done Ada, Hope, Willow and Dylan

Geologist Visits Primary 5 and P5/4

Mr Harris, who was a geologist and is Simon’s Granddad,  came into class to tell us all about how Scotland is where it is today and Scotland’s  fault lines.  We also got to touch different rocks and fossils.    Thank you so much for coming in and sharing your knowledge.
