Working on Long A words -ai
We have been working on Long A with the pattern ‘ai’ this week. Here are some examples of our work.
P3B Wonderful wall displays of our learning
We have been finding marvellous words that Dick King Smith used in Horse pie. We have made a fabulous wall display with lots of adjectives from the story.
Which horses are move majestically? Which are skin and bone? Which ones are toffee-nosed and fat as butter?
P3B Friendships
We have been learning about friendships. We are making new friends.
In drama we took the roles of Jenny and Alfie and we thought about how these new friends were feeling and what they would do next.
We are learning to thought-track. Mrs. Thomson taps us on the shoulder and we speak out our character’s thoughts.
