In block 3 we learnt about democracy. democracy is a country or countries that let the people vote.

Countries which don’t have democracy are called dictatorship they can do what ever they want they can kill people for no reason and if someone say that they don’t like him or her they will torture them.

• Firstly in block three I have learned how to  recognise democracy between dictatorship. For e.g.  a democracy is a fair environment with a chance to have a say in the rules and the laws of that country and a dictatorship is an unfair environment with only a few leaders and there the ones that get a say in everything they do and the public don’t .

I have learnt…

• I have learnt what democracy is and why we have it.
• I have learnt how to create a speech successfully.
• I have learnt what a dictatorship is and how it works.

Democracy is when people can vote of something because they are getting there say

In block 3 we have been learning about democracy. These are 3 things I have learnt about it.

• There are 5 main parties – SNP’s, The Scottish Labour Party, The Greens, The Conservitives and The Liberal Democrats.
• England Ireland and wales all have assembly’s but England has a parliament and so does Scotland.
• You vote on a ballot paper and you have to put a cross in the box for what party or person you want to vote for.

We have been learning about Democracy in block 3 these are the thing I know about it

Its when people get a say .

All the parties have a leader and that would be the main person of the group.

In a democracy everyone over 18 can vote.

This is 3 things that I have learnt in this last block ,

Firstly we have learnt about democracy in our topic . We learnt what it is , and why we have it.

Secondly we have learnt about multiplication , division so we can get quicker at it.

Finally , we have learnt about the rules of basketball in PE and how to play it.

I have learnt this term that a dictatorship is when the leader is in control of everything and the people don’t get a say in what happens to the country. In a democracy the people get  a say in what happens. When you vote you get two pieces of paper ,one to vote for the party and one for the individual .
