Editor & Theme Choices

When you create a new Glow Blog you choose the editor you would like to be set as default.

If you accidentally make the wrong choice or you want to change you can do so at any time.

The Choice are:

  • Choosing Classic leads to the site being created with the Twenty Fourteen Theme and the Classic Editor being set.
  • Choosing Blocks leads to the site being created with the Twenty Twenty Five theme and the block editor being set.

Blocks is the default.

Changing Theme

Changing your theme is simple. Choose Themes from the Admin Menu bar.

Or go To Dashboard -> Appearance -> Themes

You can choose any theme to use with either editor.

  • ‘Block Themes’ such as the default Twenty Twenty Five theme give you more power to design the overall look of the site. They are
  • ‘Classic Themes’ like Twenty Fourteen, Twenty Sixteen give you a little more out the box, and make it simpler to make basic changes, colours & headers et via the Customizer.

With Editors you can choose either editor to be the default and either allow or disallow withe ability to switch editors.

We would strongly recommend that you use the block editor. For themes we would recommend chasing on of the ‘Twenty Themes’.
