Congratulations to Primary 1b for winning the cloakroom cup. Keep up the good work !

Primary one have been exploring different coins and sorting them into trays.  We are creating a toy shop and will use our knowledge of money when we role-play as shop keepers and customers.  We are also learning about time and looking at analogue and digital clock faces to help us tell the time.

On Friday P1-3 met in the playground for Sports Relief.  We warmed up by doing ‘Zumba’ with Mrs Little.  It was fun dancing along with the music.  Then Mrs Fletcher set us off one after the other on a two lap course round the perimeter of the school.  It was great fun and in aid of a good cause.

Mrs Finnie worked with us to create a huge ‘Highland Coo’.  We drew round our hands lots of times and then cut them out and stuck them down to make our collage.  A big thank you to Mrs Finnie.

Primary 1 have been busy making toys out of junk. They had to draw a plan and think about how their toy would move and what they would need to make it. They had to share their ideas with their friends.
