When Mrs Quayle visited us to launch this year’s Book Bug books we were asked to read the books in the Book Bug bag then vote for our favourite.
The results are:
P1a – ” Never tickle a tiger” by Pamela Butchart.

P1c – “Mouse’s first night at moonlight school” by Simon Puttock and Ali Pye.
We have really enjoyed hearing and discussing the Book Bug books.
Just a wee note to let you know that ‘Mouse’s First Night at Moonlight School’ scooped the Scottish Children’s Book Award in a very special ceremony in Glasgow today.
Bookbug loves all three books, but are delighted for author Simon Puttock and illustrator Ali Pye, for winning the award.
