Nine Primary 7 pupils took up the opportunity to participate in a led cycle through Dalbeattie forest today with Katie from ibike. Children carried out some bike and helmet checks in the playground before setting off through the forest. The group cycled through the forest stopping at various points to discuss markers, routes and aspects of nature they were seeing on their morning out. There was also an opportunity to explore the new woodland park. Well done to all those who took park and showed determination with those hills. It certainly was a lovely day to be out cycling in the forest.
Nursery Sports
The children have been practising their sports with Mrs Carson all term; they took the opportunity to show off their skills during sports day. Thank you to all the children for being super participants and thank you to everyone that came to support the children, we hope you all agree that it was a lovely day.
