Primary 5 pupils carried out a bug survey in the School Grounds and then submitted the data to the OPAL (Open Air Laboratory) website. The first challenge was to identify the invertebrates found on human-made hard surfaces like the walls and fences.

After School Netball Competition
Mrs Anderson and Mrs Blackwood have recently been taking our netball teams to Crossmichael Primary to take part in an interschool competition organised by Active Schools. The teams have participated very well and shown increasing improvement in their techniques and standard of play. Thank you Mrs Anderson and Mrs Blackwood for your time and well done teams for your the fantastic effort and enthusiasm.

Infant Sports
What a fantastic Sports Day ! Well done to all pupils in Primary 1,2 and 3 . All children participated well and had a fun and enjoyable sports day in the sun. Children took part in team races and then individual races. The team work was fantastic and sporting behaviour shone through. Thank you to all those who joined us today and thank you to staff for organising the event.
