Today we had our first celebration assembly. Mrs Inkster awarded each class with the following certificates. Everyone has contributed so well towards these things. We are very proud of our achievements so far.

We are delighted to be back at school and have had a busy two weeks settling in. We are all doing a great job and coping very well with all the new routines and things in class. The children are exploring and learning through play for lots of different things. Here are some photos showing what we have been doing. We are working with others and building on team work.
During World Book Week Primary 1/2 watched Nick Sharratt live showing how to draw things. He showed us how to draw a frog, a queen with a quaff, a camel and a kangaroo. Here are some of our drawings. We think they are pretty cool!

There was great excitement in Primary 1/2 this afternoon. Jigsaw Jack has joined our class. He was a little nervous but everyone has made him feel welcome and told him how they feel safe.
Primary 1/2 have been busy doing angels for Christmas craft this afternoon.
We have fun in maths. Some of us have been learning about coins, some of us have been learning about addition and subtraction.
Primary 1 are doing well with their phonics and were e learning about the letter u and the sound it makes. They then made some umbrellas and continued to build on their fine motor skills. It looked like great fun.
