Family Community Activity Sessions

At Chryston High we know that for our pupils, physical and emotional well-being is key in allowing our young people to achieve academic success. We want to provide all our young people with the opportunity to participate in physical activity through our PE lessons and a range of extra curricular activities. We want to extend that opportunity by inviting parents/ carers and their siblings along to participate alongside our pupils in a short block of family and community activity sessions.

Venue: Chryston High, Games Hall

Day : Thursday

Time: 6.00-7.00pm

Dates:  Block One  17th January – 14th Feb

                 Block Two 21st February – 21st March

The activity sessions will be a relaxed and informal opportunity for you to participate in a variety of fun physical activities with your son or daughter and their siblings. The evenings will be run by local community  coaches who will be able to offer a pathway at the end of the block for your family to continue into any of the sports or activities you have enjoyed together.

If you are interested in joining us for either of the blocks please click on the link below and fill in your details. We will be in touch as soon as possible to let you know if you have secured a place for your family.

Most of these events are highlighted on our parent calendar available on the school website however, there have been some necessary date changes/amendments which are highlighted in bold. I invite you along to all of these events which provides our very proud and strong community with numerous opportunities to join together and celebrate our many talents and skills, particularly those of our young people. I was delighted to see so many families, young people, partners and friends at our very successful Christmas Fayre on Saturday (1st December), thanks as always for your support and particular thanks to our Parent Council who organised and arranged the event.
