The Chryston High School ski trip parental meeting took place on the evening of 22/11/18. The PowerPoint used as part of the presentation cab be found by clicking on the link below. The Modern Languages department are delighted to offer S4-6 German pupils the opportunity to visit Munich and Salzburg. The trip will run from Wednesday 14th to Monday 19th June 2017 and will cost £540.

The ML Department is organising a trip to the Platform in Glasgow to see German rapper Chefket in concert. Afterwards, pupils will take part in a workshop with the rapper and look at the linguistic importance of his lyrics. The cost of the trip is £4 to cover the cost of the bus. See Mr Kirk for more details and to collect a permission form. Forms are attached to the post.

Just a polite reminder to parents and guardians that the next installment (£75) for the trip to Ypres and the Somme is due on 22nd August. Money must be paid directly to Mr Kirk. Please remind your child to bring their payment card.
Thank you to all S3, S4 and S5 parents and pupils for quickly returning consent forms and bus money for the Ben Nevis trip.
Can all S4 and S5 pupils who haven’t already collected their sponsor forms for this event please collect one from Miss Renicks as soon as possible. Once all pupils have returned from study leave, there will be a meeting to give out important information regarding health and safety, equipment and the finer details of the trip.
The Modern Languages Department are running a trip to Ypres and the Somme as part of an interdisciplinary project to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.
The trip will take place between the 10th and 14th of February 2017 and is open to all S2 pupils (current S1 pupils).
All details are in the consent form attached and deposits should be handed directly to Mr Kirk.

Due 
to the European Referendum on June 23rd, the school fete has had to be moved to Tuesday 28th June and as such the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Trip will be on Thursday 23rd June. Any pupils who can no longer attend on this date can have their deposits refunded.
