Health and Wellbeing Bulletin 1

CHS Pupil Support Wellbeing Bulletin 1 has been prompted by concerns raised by many parents and pupils about the pressure of work during very challenging times for families and includes information that has been shared with teachers.  We hope this offers families some reassurance regarding learning at home during the school closure.

This was emailed to parents.  Please get in touch if you did not receive it attendance@chrystonhigh.n-lanark.sch.uk

S1 Welcome Evening

There is a welcome evening for S1 parents, families and children on Thursday 3 October  from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.  Parents will be able to visit classrooms with their children and speak to teachers and pupils about what their children have been learning.  Pupils representing the various clubs and committees in the school will be in the social area.  We look forward to welcoming you to Chryston High School.

Please see S1 Welcome Evening 2019 for more information and S1 Dates for your Diary.

Vaccinations S3 Pupils

The School Immunisation Team will be attending Chryston High School on Friday 22nd March for the Diptheria, Tetanus and Polio and the Meningitis ACWY immunisations. The Diptheria, Tetanus and  Polio vaccine is carried on from childhood injections, and the  Meningitis ACWY vaccine protects against the most common strains of the meningitis bacteria to affect teenagers and young adults.

Students should wear a short sleeve shirt/blouse on the day.  If they do not have a short sleeve shirt/blouse, they should bring in their PE top to put on when they are due to have their vaccination.  Pupils should eat breakfast in the morning.
