The Fitness Suite

In Chryston High School, we have a wonderful fitness suit.  The Girls’ Fitness Club is on Friday after school from 02.55 to 03.55.  The other fitness clubs are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at lunchtime.  The times are  great if you are normally at home and not active.  If you are in school it’s great to do something active at lunchtime since it can get a little boring waiting for your next class.  I think if you have the time you should definitely go since it could be a wonderful experience for you and your friends. You can  improve your fitness and meet some new friends.  The people who run the fitness club are the seniors who are very helpful and nice. Go and have fun.

My First 3 Weeks

My first 3 weeks at Chryston have been great! My faaaaavourite subject so far is probably Music.  I am learning drums along with Aaron, Jack, Anya, Andie, Gemma and Rebecca.  My second favourite subject is probably Art.  Outside of school I spend a lot of time drawing and doing sketches – I just love it.  So when I’m in Art it is just really fun for me!  I have made new friends from other schools.  In fact, some of my best friends are from other schools!   So overall my first three weeks have been amazing!  I have two favourite subjects, I have made new friends and I have new best friends, not a lot but it is enough to make me happy.

School Dinners

Pupils at Chryston High School really enjoy the school meals. The kitchen is very clean and organized and the staff there are so helpful and happy. All of the 7 staff love working in Chryston High.  All the food is made freshly every morning and you have lots of choices to pick from. The lunch time is 12:30 till 13:15. The food they make comes from Blakes grocery. The kitchen is well cleaned every morning before they start cooking or baking. All the meats they use are fresh not frozen. They are always looking for new recipes or ideas for the kitchen.
