S4 BLAIRVADACH STUDY RETREAT
There are 11 places left on the Blairvadach Study Retreat weekend, places are filling up fast! If you are interested in attending and in S4, please pass your deposit to Miss Kelly in Lab 215 by this Friday 6th September.
TRIP TO ROME
The Social Subjects department are organising a trip to Italy in June 2020 for current S3, S4 and S5 pupils. Could any pupils interested in going on the trip attend a meeting in Mr Brodericks room (142) on Wednesday at 1.35pm
Rome Trip 2019 Meeting – Pupils
There will be a meeting on Tuesday the 20th of August for those pupils going to Rome in October. The meeting will begin at 1.30pm in room 105. Please ensure that you have handed in your “Personal details” sheet and your passport to Mrs Killin.
Edinburgh Book Festival trips
A reminder that this year’s Edinburgh Book Festival trips start next week!
There are still some spaces to be filled for S2, S3 and S4 pupils.

Lourdes Secondary Summer Trip to Blackpool on Friday 21 June 2019
Some useful information for pupils and parents/carers:
- You should wear casual clothes and bring a change of clothes with you if you intend to explore the water rides.
- Pupils should arrive outside the school on Paisley Road West at 6.45am on Friday 21st June.
- The buses will leave the school at 7am prompt.
- The £25 paid for the trip to date will cover entry to the park and limitless use of the rides.
- We will leave the park at 4.30pm with an approximate arrival time at the school of 8.30pm

Many thanks to all the S2 Parents/Carers who attended the Information Evening last night in the school. Hopefully most of your questions have been answered, however if you feel you have any more and can not wait until the next meeting on Wednesday 17 April, then please do not hesitate to contact the school on 0141 582 0180 and speak to either Mrs McMullan or Miss Campbell in the BECS Faculty.

Water Sports 2019 Trip to South of France
Huge thank you to all the S1 Parents who attended the Information Evening tonight. If you were unable to attend, please find the presentation from the evening below (click the photo).
If your child is currently in S1 and would like to go on this trip, we now only have three spaces remaining – therefore they should inform either Mrs McMullan, Miss Gibson or Mr Blaney in the BECS Faculty asap.
