That’s been a fast start to the new term!  P4-5-6 have spent time getting accustomed to their new teachers, classmates and new rules, routines and expectations.  They have all settled in really well and we feel sure it’s going to be a great year of learning and fun!

We spent time doing lots of ‘getting to know you’ activities and taking part in team building challenges that required good communication skills, supporting group members and giving advice and resilience when things went wrong!

We also took part in a group drawing competition.  This was definitely harder to do than expected!  The end results caused great hilarity!

Each morning, we settle into school with a Soft Start. This might be a whole class game, an individual or paired challenge or a quiet task before our lessons begin.  Here’s a small selection of Soft Start photos…
