This week Mrs Smith has been getting the children to improve on their throwing skills. Although PE is outside, it is still lots of fun and there are plenty of games to help warm us up.

We did some craft today. Everyone did fantastic cutting out for really tricky shapes. It was good to make a moving skeleton.
We are so busy getting back into the swing of things. It’s great to see each other again.
Mrs Inkster bought us presents for things to play with and learn with in school. Due to the COVID situation she felt this was best and we’ve realised we can use them all next term!
Here are some photos of us opening them. We love them and can’t wait to use them next term.
What a day we’ve had! Party time, quiz time and now we are tired. Have a look at the concentration and fun we were having during our party game. Then we got our party bags, they were delicious.
We couldn’t go to the pantomime, so the pantomime came to us, along with some treats. We loved them and thanked Mrs Henderson and Mrs Graydon when they arrived with them.
Christmas jumper day was great fun. What a lot of different jumpers there were and all different.
We also designed our own Christmas jumpers too.
We had Christmas lunch in class today and got to have the staff sit with us too! That was great fun. What we really loved most was Mrs Sunshine’s funny Christmas hat. It was hilarious!
The class have been learning a new sound with Miss Morrison today. They learned the action too. Primary 2 were there to check it was correct and help out, lending a little moral support along the way.
We have been learning about road safety as part of our night and day topic. We did some activities with Miss Morrison and had to look at and sort pictures of safe and unsafe places to cross the road.
