Communication Corner
Please have a look at our communication corner in the cloakroom. This board provides information in aiding your child’s communication and language skills. This board will be updated weekly with two Makaton signs. Makaton is fun and aids communication and language development. This weeks signs of the week are Milk and Please, we will be doing these signs with your child on a daily basis within the ECC but feel free to try these out at home. The ECC will also be providing a top tip of the month: Getting face to face with your child please take a look on our communication board for more information.
Donations Please
In the ECC we go through lots of liquid soap, hankies, wet wipes and kitchen roll. We would greatly appreciate it if parents/carers could donate at least two of any of these items please.
To prevent us running out of storage, we ask that only pink and red group parents donate just now and we will ask the other groups to donate over the year.
Thank you

Bug Club
It was lovely to meet some of our new families at a Bug Club workshop recently. It was aimed at new children in the school from P2 upwards and we hope that they are enjoying learning new reading skills with this super online resource.
Children familiar with this should all be back into the swing of Bug Club and aiming high with challenging texts from their teachers. As always please lets us know if you are experiencing any difficulties with your account.
Soon we shall look forward to meeting all our new P1 families at one of the future workshops. More details to follow.
