P7 Maths Transition Morning

Tuesday 18th February

*Grange Academy*

Leaving school at 9.10 to walk to the Grange.

Return around lunch time – no home lunches on the day please.

Full school uniform, warm jacket and suitable outdoor shoes.

Pupils can take a small morning snack.

Thursday 6th and Friday 7th June

Pupils will leave school at 8.55 sharp to walk to Grange , please ensure your child arrives for 8.50 at the latest.

Full school uniform.

Individual letters with full information have been emailed to parents.

As part of P7 Transition , pupils will visit Grange academy on Wednesday 17th April to attend a science fair.

Leaving school at 9.00 am sharp .

Packed lunches only on the day please.

School uniform and waterproof jacket.

Leaving Grange at 1.30pm.

Please give permission below for your child to attend and if you are available to help on the day.

Easter Holiday Arrangements

School & ECC will close on Friday 29th march at 2.30pm.

Gatehead pupils will be collected at 2pm.

We will re open again on Monday 15th.

We will also be closed on Good Friday ( 19th ) and Easter Monday (22nd April)

 

 

Primary 7 to Ayrshire College – STEM

**Science  Event**

Primary 7 will visit Ayrshire College on Wednesday 20th March.

Walking to the venue.

Leaving school early , pupils should arrive at school for 8.45am please.

Suitable outdoor clothing should be worn & waterproof jacket.

Please give permission for your child to attend and if you are able to help on the day.

P4A and P4B Visit to Ayrshire College

Primary 4s will visit Ayrshire College ( Kilmarnock Campus )

on

Wednesday 27th February 2019.

Leaving school at 9.00am sharp and returning for 12 noon.

Pupils will be walking to the venue and should wear suitable shoes and  waterproof  jacket.

Pupils should bring a small morning snack that will fit in their pocket.

ECC & Primary 1 Showcase of Learning

ECC & Primary 1 Showcase of Learning

Our children in the ECC and Primary 1 have been very busy learning about Harris McCoo and his family. 

They would like to share their learning with you on Thursday 7th February.

In order to accommodate both our morning and afternoon children, this short showcase of learning will take place at 10.45am and 2.15pm.

PARENTS AND CARERS SHOULD ONLY ATTEND ONE SESSION DUE TO NUMBERS.

Base 1 Trip

Base 1 will visit the Museum of Rural Life

in East Kilbride.

P1B & P1/2 A – Friday 2 November.

P1C & P1D  – Monday 5 November.

 Leaving school at 9.15am and returning for 3.15pm.

Waterproof jacket and wellingtons. Packed lunches can be ordered if required.

Slips will be in bags from wed 24th and should be returned by 30th, Please bring packed lunches in disposable bags with names on.

Old casual bottoms and school sweat shirt please. Morning snack will be required.

 

 

P7s – PE Transition

Primary 7 will visit the Grange Academy

for 6 weeks

staring Wednesday 10th October

till 21 November 2018

for PE Transition.

School Sweatshirt should be worn with casual PE bottoms and trainers.

Warm outdoor jacket for walking to Grange and bottle of water !

Leaving school at 11.00am and returning for approx. 12.45.

No home lunches on the day please.

Please give permission for your child to attend below and if you are able to help on any of the days.

Without the support of parents / carers helping out on the day , some of these exciting activities may not be able to go ahead.
