Friday Quiz

Is Friday night family quiz night in your house?  If it is, here is an extra special round presented by Judy Murray especially for us at Gargieston.  Thank you to Mrs Green for organising this.

Watch the video from Judy and see how many questions you get correct.  I will post the answers in the comments (no cheating!!)

What a lovely way to round off our whole school Scottish focus.  This week has been fabulous with our daily Scottish sing-a-long with Mr Hay, Scots poetry and some fabulous creative tasks as part of your remote learning.  I have also enjoyed hosting fun live Scottish quizzes with our Primary 5, 6 & 7 classes on Teams this week too.

Take care, stay safe and have a lovely weekend 🙂

Scottish Week – Music with Mr Hay – Monday 25th January

Good morning everyone,

This week we would normally be celebrating everything Scotland within school and be taking part in lots of singing activities.

Mrs McKee was keen that we still celebrate this while we are at home. Have a watch of this video, sing along and send me a video!

I would love to see your child singing along so please upload their video for Auld Lang Syne on the form below.

Enjoy!

Hobbies and Clubs

Thank you for sending in your photos and videos. Gargieston boys and girls are so talented! Please enjoy this short video of some of our children enjoying their hobbies and clubs at home.

Also, I have been sent links to two fantastic videos where you might be able to spot 2 of our Gargieston pupils. The first video is very suitable given the strange times that we find ourselves in.
