P6A Class Assembly

Today, we’ve did our class assembly.  It was very entertaining and we were lucky to have Lorna Sloan from the John Muir Trust to watch our assembly.  We all had an amazing time.  Lorna gave us certificates at the end.

HE DID IT!

Well done Joe Dow. Maths Millionaire! Some very challenging questions on the way. It took a few attempts but he got there in the end.

Football Success!

Well done to the school football team today. They beat Troon Primary 5-2 in The Ayrshire Cup and now go through to the quarter finals. Thanks very much to Mr Hay and Mr Darnbrough for organising the boys in Mr Smith’s absence.

Loose parts

The pupil council have been looking at our playground. They would like more things to do at break and lunch so have decided to add some loose parts to our playground. This will be for primary 1-3 to start with while we build resources. If you have any spare parts at home or have any links with building companies etc. please let me know. Here is a small list of possible things you could donate:

  • Leaves
  • Pine cones
  • Wood (all sizes)
  • Pipes
  • Crates
  • Pegs
  • Shells
  • Stones
  • Tyres

i cycle

Cycling proficiency training begins Thursday 27th March 3.30-4.30.

Hatching in the ECC

We are delighted to inform you that one of our eggs in the ECC hatched last night! Meet “Popcorn”.

Jacket Mix Up

We have had a jacket handed in that was left behind at last weeks disco.

The child that brought it back has lost her jacket and we are hoping there has been a mix up.

If the jacket in the photo belongs to you , please contact the office.

If you have accidentally taken the wrong jacket last week , please return to the school office.

Thank you.
