Rights Respecting Schools Harvest Food Collection

As part of our work towards our Level 1 award and our celebration of Harvest , the Rights Respecting Schools Group are organising a food collection from each class which will be donated to the East Ayrshire Foodbank to help families in need within our community. From Monday 2nd October, we would be extremely grateful  if pupils were able to each bring one item of non-perishable food for their class box. Foodstuffs will be collected together as part of our Harvest assembly on Friday, 13th October which will be led by the RRS group. The foodbank would welcome any donations but have indicated that they would be particularly grateful for donations of:-  tinned fruit ,teabag, breakfast cereal, dried pasta

  • The Article of the UNCRC that this work relates to is Article 26:-“Governments must provide extra money for the children of families in need”.
