This week, everybody has worked on their cutting skills. Our hard work has been made into beautiful pictures that will be displayed outside our class. Scissor cutting takes a surprising amount of skill, patience and perseverance!
Opening and closing the scissors helps our small muscles to strengthen. These muscles will help us holding pencils.
Cutting helps our hand-eye coordination.
Cutting involves us using both sides of our body at the same time to do different things. Easier said than done!
Cutting doesn’t just have to be done with paper. Try play doh, straws, string, toilet roll tubes, things found outdoors etc….
Our task was tricky….straight and curved lines to try. Great work everybody!
We are delighted to share our first class photo of the new Primary 1/2 class for this session! We are sure we are going to have a super year of fun and learning together.
Welcome back everybody!
