We have been using our black pen to draw different faces. Our faces tell the story of how we are feeling. Today we were thinking about feeling scared. After we had drawn our picture we shared our story with our teacher.

Building Ramps
We have been working together to build different ramps. We explored different ramps to see which one was the best. Sometimes the cars fell off so we had to find different ways of keeping them on. We thought about ramps which made the cars go faster and ramps that made the cars go further.
Loose Parts Play
We have been using lots of different bits and bobs to make different models and pictures.
We made a bridge to our castle out of corks.

Making Words
We have been putting our sounds together to make different small words.
Elmer the Elephant
We enjoyed sharing the story of Elmer the elephant to help us remember the e sound.
We drew pictures to take home and share.
Counting Cards
One of our class activities this week has been counting up different sets of objects. We wrote our answers on our whiteboards and shared them with our teachers.
Jolly Phonics
We have been having great fun learning our Jolly Phonics sounds with Mrs Collins, Mrs Maxfield and Michael the puppet too! We have been enjoying learning the songs and actions to go with each sound.
Making Faces
We have been using plasticine to make different faces. You have to squash and squeeze the plasticine to make it soft. We had to think about all the different parts of our face and how our face shows others how we feel.
