We used plasticine to make the different characters from the stories we have been reading. We had to squeeze the plasticine and make it soft before we could shape it. It was hard work! 

We used our picture plan to help us write the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff.

We have been making stick puppets and using them to retell our favourite stories.

We have been enjoying sharing books together. Last week P6 came to visit P1 and we all had great fun reading and talking about different books.

We have been using coins to buy things in our class shop. We have been thinking about how to use coins to make different amounts.

We enjoyed using the snow from the playground in our play. 

We were really pleased with our paintings of the Little Red Hen. We worked together nicely sharing paint and clearing up afterwards.

We had great fun working together to make bread just like the Little Red Hen. It was delicious!

We enjoyed reading the story of the little red hen. We drew  pictures and then used them to help us write our own stories about the little hen but in our stories the other animals wanted to help bake the bread!

We have been learning to control the mouse to move things about on the computer screen. We had great fun hiding teddy for our friends to find.
