Warm up task = sumdog spelling challenge or a spelling task with this week’s words.

Don’t forget about French colours. You could play snap with French colour words and cards with different colours on them.

research temperatures around the world. What is the coldest place you can find right now? What is the coldest temperatures ever recorded in different places e.g. Glasgow, New York, North Pole etc

Create a table or graph to display this information. Apply your previous learning this year about graphs and data handling.

Word problem of the day

The temperature in Glasgow is 6 degrees less than in London. In London, it is 5 degrees less than in New York. New York is 2 degrees warmer than Moscow and Moscow is 5 degrees colder than Belfast.

The temperature in Belfast is 3 degrees.
