Charity Donations

Lourdes Secondary School prides itself on the charitable work and fundraising it does for some very worthwhile causes.  Recently we donated to Downs and Proud, Breast Cancer Research and the Brick by Brick appeal.  Huge congratulations to all involved with this.

Santa Dash – Friday 12th December 2014

Our Young Ambassadores for Sport in Lourdes Secondary are inviting all pupils to take part in a “Santa Dash” on Friday 12th December around the school.

The ‘Santa Dash’ is a fundraising event for the Brick-by-Brick appeal. Our aim is for every pupil to complete a short walk, jog or run and raise donations for our chosen charity.
There are many ways to take part:
• Buy a Santa hat for £2 to wear whilst taking part.
• Any pupil who raises £5 or more will be given the Santa hat for free.
• Pupils can wear their own Santa hat and make a donation on the day to participate.

All pupils are asked to wear a red top (no football tops). If your child wishes to get sponsored, please complete the attached form and return to the school with all sponsorship money on or before Friday 12th December.

Non-Uniform Day

FRIDAY 31ST OCTOBER

All pupils in the school will be participating in a non-uniform day on Friday 31st October and we would ask that pupils donate £1 to the Brick by Brick appeal.

S6 pupils are organising a Halloween Party for S1 pupils on the afternoon of Friday 31st October 2014.
We are confident that S1 will enthusiastically enter into the spirit of the party in the afternoon and dress suitably for the occasion. (Changing facilities will be made available to the pupils.)
