The S3 XL class organised and hosted a tea party on 9th June. The class invited residents from our local elderly care homes to come along for an afternoon of tea, coffee, home-baking and live entertainment.
Just a huge thank you to all who donated blankets, towels, sheets, jackets, food and toys to the Cat and Dog Home appeal. Some of the S3 and S5 girls visited the home this morning to deliver the donations. The staff wanted to extend their gratitude and appreciation and they commented on how large a donation we had collected.
On December 14th the higher health and food technology class are hosting a rich man poor man lunch for S6 pupils and Teachers. This is to raise money for SCIAF and to raise awareness of the poverty in the world today. 80% of the world live in poverty and don’t have enough food but 20% of the world has too much food.
