Well! We couldn’t have picked a better day to clear up around da Costa-Del-Boddam Loop!
The bairns did really well, and have gathered a huge amount of bruck.
Today we have had the pleasure of a visit organised by Shetland Inter Faith. We have heard from Buddhist monk, Rev Morawaka, Hakka Adzmir, a Muslim student and member of Interfaith Scotland Youth Advisory Board and Frances Hume, the National Development Officer from Interfaith Scotland.
It was really interesting to hear about faiths that are not well represented in Shetland, the class enjoyed listening to everyone, as well as seeing some of the special clothes worn by different religions.
We are very grateful to our special visitors today, and we very much appreciate their time to stop by for a visit.

This term, we are going to have several sessions with Ability Shetland to learn about Boccia. Today has been out first session and it’s been lots of fun!
Primary 6/7 have started their new topic of multiplication and division in maths this week. We had a great time playing a multiplication squares game.
Miss Moar has got the class started on our topic for the term, which is space. The class have started creating planets with balloons and paper mâché, these will go on to form part of our wall display in class. It looks like lots of messy fun!
This morning we were set a task…
We had to design, then craft a device that allowed all of our team members to draw at the same time, but nobody was allowed to touch the pen while it was drawing. We had string, one pen, tape, scissors and paper.
Here are some of our finished drawings, can you tell what they are!?
