This morning we were set a task…
We had to design, then craft a device that allowed all of our team members to draw at the same time, but nobody was allowed to touch the pen while it was drawing. We had string, one pen, tape, scissors and paper.

We have been planning and creating stop motion films to explain what an ecosystem is.
We have been using the environment around us to help make out films.
We are planning on showing our finished films to P4/5 soon.
On Monday afternoon, while the P6s were at Playleader training, the P7s carried on their Eco project, this time by making notepads for the school. They reused paper that had only been used on one side, cut the A4 to A5, holepunched it and made up 64 A5 booklets. They worked well together and had a great production line, so that everyone joined in. Each class has now got a set of the notepads and the office too 🙂
The enterprise groups are continuing to work hard on their projects and everything is starting to take shape 😊
It has been lovely to see everyone again. It has been great to have some nice weather too and to start out Enterprise project.Today the weather was so nice that we went outside for reading time and we started our fractions topic by drawing house fraction walls.
This morning we had a really exciting workshop with Emma Chittick. She taught us about renewable energy and then we had to make a LEGO wind turbine. At the end of the lesson we tested all the turbines to see which produced the most energy. Kathryn and Isla WON!!!
On Monday, Jennifer Thomson organised a fantastic day for P7.
We started in the hall with team building games and then Phil Hibbert came to teach us fencing, which was really good fun.
After break we played netball outside until the rain stopped play and we went into the hall to finish off and then had a quick game of hide and seek in the forest.
In the afternoon we went down to the pitch to play football and rounders.
It was a brilliant day and everyone had a lot of fun. Thank you Jennifer and Phil.
