Some of the pupils who attend our Additional Support Needs Department have had fun making this Nativity Play. We hope you enjoy it.

Happy Holidays!
End of an era
There was lots of excitement in the school today as everyone is getting ready for their holidays.
The last day of term also brings some sadness as we have to say cheerio to the P7 pupils. We have loved watching them all grown in to the wonderful young people they have become.
We hope that they go on and achieve all their dreams. Enjoy watching some of their journey over the years.
P7 School Trip
Have a look at how much fun our Primary 7 pupils had on their recent school trip to Edinburgh.
Football and Netball Tournament
Unfortunately due to the poor weather forecast, the organisers of the Football and Netball Tournament planned for tomorrow have taken the decision to cancel it.
We know the P6 and P7 pupils due to play tomorrow will be really disappointed.
Going Wild!
Pupils from our Early Learning and Childcare Setting, with a little help from some P6 pupils enjoyed planting some wild flowers on the small hill outside the setting. We hope that over time this will improve the area and attract some birds and insects.
Special thanks to Olaf Isbister and the Planticrub for their kind donation of flowers and for providing the equipment for our young people to use.
Thank You Lerwick Port Authority
We have been extremely lucky to receive a donation of 20 trees from the Lerwick Port Authority. This donation from the Port Authority offsets their paper usage.
This morning Lerwick Port Authority were on hand to support our staff and pupils to plant these trees at the back of our school car park. Once these trees grow we are hoping that as well as enhancing the area it will reduce the amount of grass cutting required. All helping the environment.
Look at the feedback we received from Port Authority staff about our young people:
‘The pupils were excellent. They were friendly and enthusiastic, confident with people new to them and very keen to participate. Everyone got a chance to get involved with all parts of the planting process and they worked very well together. Their behaviour was a credit to themselves and the school.’
