In the run-up to the holidays, Primary 6 pupils prepared cards to exchange with partner classes on the other side of the English Channel! They did a brilliant job in writing and designing their cards, and learned some new French vocabulary.
Pupils in P6n created their own French Christmas cards to send to a class at École Élémentaire Gambetta – a primary school near Bordeaux! We have received cards from their class, written in English, in response. The children in both classes did a great job!
Primary 3s have been practising hard for their assembly on the 29th September. This is one of the songs we will be performing. It’s called “Bonjour, c’est moi” (Hello, it’s me!) and in it we show how we have learned the names for parts of our bodies in French.
On Friday at Assembly the pupils from Primary 4s shared their learning with the pupils from Primary 4-7. They did an excellent presentation about Living Things sharing all the facts they had learned. They involved the audience too!
They finished the Assembly with a wonderful song sung entirely in French! It was lovely to see them all enjoying their learning and having the confidence to share it with their peers!
