Family Fund

We want every family raising a disabled or seriously ill child who is eligible for one of our grants to know about the support we offer, and apply.

Can you help us by spreading the word to parents and carers around you or at your school?

Through our Scotland programme, parents and carers can apply for grant items to improve the day-to-day quality of life for a disabled child or young person aged 17 or younger.

A wide range of items are available, including clothing, furniture, kitchen appliances, family breaks, sensory toys, digital devices and much more.

With your support, we can make sure that as many families as possible benefit from this grant programme now, while funding is available.

Holocaust Memorial Day by Bell’s Brae Primary 6 pupils

Primary 6 pupils have been learning about the Holocaust.  They focused on the story of Anne Frank.  The pupils used what they had learned to write poems and newspaper articles about the Holocaust.  They also learned a song, No Wars Will Stop Us Singing by Don Black and Debbie Wiseman,  in music with Ms Simpson.  The class had planned to go to the Holocaust Memorial service at the Town Hall on Friday but the weather meant this was cancelled.  With the help of Mrs Teale (Student Primary Teacher) the pupils produced a stop motion with art work they had made.  The theme of HMD2025 is For A Better Future.
