In writing we were learning to look over our writing from Friday to improve it. To do this you need to read over and then add in a new simile or metaphor or wow word.
This morning when we came in we went into the I.C.T suite and got a bit more of our work done on sway with our Rain Forests
After Break
We came in starting doing word problems for maths some people did bronze,silver and gold.
After Lunch
We got our books out and started reading them because we are focusing on Benchmark21.
Language
We got our reading books out and started skiming and skamming for slang words in our book then we would write them done in our jotter then write the non slang word.
In language, we have been exploring Scottish slang and dialect. Use these words in a sentence or try and write your own story or paragraph using all of the words.

Maths
We are continuing to show great skills in fractions, decimals and percentages. The key to this work is division which is linked directly to multiplying. For homework you have a multiplying worksheet to keep our times tables and division sharp!
IDL
We are starting a new rainforest topic and one of the animals we are focusing on is a chameleon.
Find out how many different types of chameleon there are and what countries you get chameleons in.
First Mrs R took us we were doing drama with the (BFG) script we were learning to put expressions and fluency.
Maths
After we were moving onto maths we were creating a shop with percentages and fractions and we were learning to show and explain how to work out a fraction of a number.
Lunch time 🍝🍔
After lunch we were continuing to read our books 📖 .
We were also finding inference from Scottish slang poems by (JK Annand). We took our jotters and also found inference in the poems. We were also learning about dialect.
WAC
Finally, we are planning a new block of focused learning based on the Rainforest topic.
