Today we examined and considered times that made us feel good and how different events can make us feel on top of the world.
Today we worked on adding simple fractions. We studied an animation film linked to WW2. For PE we worked on team races.
Today we enjoyed ball skills in the sun and then finished off looking for mini beasts in the pitch area.
Primary 6/7 enjoyed lots of Easter activities today. They decorated and rolled eggs and engaged in an Easter quiz at assembly and Easter art activities. They also fell for a few April Fool jokes!
Today we investigated the tangle tool on the Dyson. We took it apart and examined how it worked before putting it back together.
Today we reassembled our class Dyson (it almost fits back together!)
We then disassembled a carbon fibre turbine head. It was very tricky and needed lots of patience and resilience to take it apart and correctly reassemble it.
We then compared both Dysons to see what one we preferred.
This morning we had a Teams meet up with a High school teacher Ms Kilpatrick. We learned some Gaelic. We had a group that finished first in the Kahoot quiz too!
We then worked on using our multiplication skills to help us solve division problems.
Next we created comic strips linked to our reading book.
We finished with outdoor PE. We worked on cooperation and teamwork.
Today P6/7 worked on improving their writing and continued to develop their short multiplication skills. Children were able to star if they preferred the compact or extended method.
Today P6/7 started a new story, developed their handwriting and learned a new spelling rule. We started to work on short multiplication – learning two ways to find answers.
