Today was our first day of Primary 6/7.
The most important thing to know about today was that
“TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!” Rhys.
We spent lots of time building a strong team today. We explored what makes a good team by competing in challenges.
We identified 10 things as the “recipe for an effective team”.
- including everyone
- taking turns
- communication
- listen to each other
- help each other
- planning
- clear instructions
- compromising
- trust
- respect
Today we learned how to read a book which doesn’t have writing. We then created a piece of writing about ourselves to get to know each other better.
Top tip – take your time to study the images to see what information you can learn from it.
We harvested peas and broad beans that were planted before the summer. Some people thought they were delicious.

Tomorrow we are doing daily mile and making birthday cards, read more of our class graphic novel and design our maths wall!
