I have had a request for some Art lessons, so here are some ideas if you want.
Realism
Realism is when you try and draw/paint realistic pictures. Since Spring is in full swing now, this is a great opportunity to practice some realism.
Go outside (social distancing of course!) and find something in nature that you would like to draw. This could be a landscape, a flower or plant, a tree or an animal.
For example, a ladybird landed on me yesterday when I was sitting in the garden. Take a picture before it flies away and then try and draw or paint it!
Pop Art
Pop art was an artistic movement that was a rebellion against traditional art techniques and artists. They wanted art to be bright and colourful and interesting. Pop art resembles cartoons.
Why not make your own piece of pop art to celebrate the NHS and all the Key workers that are so important to our country right now.
Google Pop art for more ideas.
sculpture
Sculpture is a way of making 3-D art. You can use clay, mud, playdough, salt dough, pasteceine etc.
Why not try out a few sculptures?
Good luck. Don’t forget to send me some pictures of your art.
