Censorship and signs!

Today we learned that letters from soldiers in WW1 underwent a process called censorship, which meant that much of what was written in a letter would be scored out before the letter reached the soldiers’ loved ones.

Normally at this time of year we would be learning Christmas songs.  Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, however, we are unable to sing in class.  We are therefore learning to ‘sing’ in British Sign Language (BSL).
