Main task
Below is a table of data about football teams and what times goals were scored.
Tally marks are a way of counting how many times something happened while you search for it. Every time you see the thing you are looking for, you put down a mark and every 5th mark is horizontal. This means that you are recording in groups of 5 and makes it easier for you to count.
Frequency is how many times something happened. So for example, the frequency of days in the week beginning with T is two – Tuesday and Thursday. It happens twice.
