Part of your spelling challenge this week has been “homophones”. Homophones are words that are spelled differently, but sound the same.

Maths

Final measuring lesson this week is on time.

Have a go at this excellent time measuring game. It will help you to work on understanding units of time and how long has elapsed.

Here is a time measuring challenge for you – estimate how long it will take you to do the following things, then test it.

  • Take off your shoes and socks and put them back on as well as tie your laces.
  • Walk 1 km (you can use a tracking app like strava to follow this)
  • Make a cup of tea for someone in your house
  • Read 2 pages of a book
  • Play a level on your favourite game
  • Do your favourite dance from start to finish
  • Clean your room
