Happy Friday

This morning we were continuing on handwriting. We are doing this to improve on it. We were learning to joing we, oa,  oo, ou. I can make different letters different heights. I can not join capital letters. We were making a handwriting activity and then when we where finished, we had to swap with a partner. They had to fill it in.

After handwriting we did some maths. We are learning about doubles and halves. Today we were answering some questions that where on the chalkboard. We had 3 different levels, Bronze,silver,gold.

Here is some information that we have all ready learnt. When some of the digits are more than 4, split it up.(partitioning). When all of the digits are even you can just half them. When the units are odd you need to use decimals. When at least one of the digits is odd then you need to split it up, half it and put it back together. When all the digits are less  than 5, just double each digit.

After maths we went outside to do some laps on the daily mile. During the daily mile the bell ran for break. We went outside. After break we finished off by doing some more laps on the daily mile. It was refreshing, but tiring at the same time.

After the daily mile we were learning about French. We are learning to listen, say, read, write. We are doing it by step by step. We are also learning to break it down, when we are saying it. After that we played a quick French game. We were trying to match the saying, to the pictures.

After that we were doing a weather report. We were meant to draw a weather in a box and then write the saying on what you draw, or you could get 3 boxes with the sayings already on it, and alll you have to do is draw the weather.

After we drew/French it was lunchtime. After lunch we went to ict. In ice we went back on the French magic cards. Mr McMullan had a record of 11 secs but Dylan came in and got 8 secs. Everybody boooooopd him. When Kyla was on it she found how to do it in 1 sec. she kinda hacked/cheated.

After that we went onto scratch. We were learning to learn different stuff and to just play about with it. We were trying to make different people talk to each other in French. We got to work in partners and we got to take turns.

After ict we came back in the class and we went outside to do STEM activities on air resistance. We learned how to build a paper airplane. After we built our airplane we went outside and text it. We had to throw it in between hoops in the air.

17/1/19

When we came in today we started off with some activities. We were learning to work independently and not to waste our time to get so many stuff done. We did some handwriting, Sumdog, reading, and some people where finishing there questions for there reading books.

 

After we did some literacy we moved onto writing. We were wring a story about someone chasing other people. We were learning to use excellent WOW words. We were also learning to use VCOP, vocabulary, connectives, openers and puncation. Some people did some very descritive words and sentences. Just before break we planned what we were going to write and then after break we stareted to write our story.

After writing it was lunchtime. After lunch we went to assembly. We were listing to songs, news, star pupils and Sumdog champions.

 

17/1/19

Today when we came in we started to do some activites. We were learning to work independently and to distract my distractions. We were also learning to try and gets lots done. We were doing some handwriting, Sumdog assistment, reading, and some people where finishing off questions for there reading groups.

 

Wacky Wednesday 😀

Today we started off by doing spelling pyramids with our spelling words.

We got to choose from list1 or list2.

Now we are starting are taskboards for our showcase jotters.The nouns are doing a book review,so are the commas and the verbs are doing  some questions.

Next we are learning how to run a P.E lesson because p 5/6 said that are P.E is not hard so we are all in groups and we are going to teach a lesson.

After are talk it was playtime.Then we went to P.E to teach the primary5/6s it was so much fun.Here are some pictures.

Then after P.E it was lunchtime. After lunchtime we were doing maths and we were doing doubles and halves. This is going in our showcase jotter so it has to be our best. We are following the taskboards again but for maths.

We also had to do our Sumdog assessment so some people did it and other didn’t . Then we went out to do the daily mile.

After we did the daily mile we were writing about the P.E lesson we did.

Then we were supposed to do our csi yesterday but we didn’t have time so we are doing it today for are P.E lesson. CSI means colour,symbol and image.

Then it was home time and we hade a great day😀

firstly today we are doing handwriting once we had finished we swapped with a partner and they marked the work 

after that we were doing reading the verbs read Jane blonde super spy  commas are reading Mrs drippys and her amazing inventions and nouns are reading under 5e bombers moon 🌑

Now we are cooking a bacon and scon roll yum 😋

Wednesday 9th January

This morning  in maths we were continuing to work on complements.

 

After playtime we were in PE.

We are working on running and did a bleep test

As soon as we came in to school we were practising our handwriting then we played spelling hangman.📗Literacy📘

We were reading our books and taking notes that are important we got new books yesterday called Jane blonde and under the boomers moon. After literacy it was playtime.

in maths we firstly played hit the button on the then we played a cowboy game and u need to say the number Bond (eg) 6 would be 4 and you put your hands in your pocket then the teacher says a number and you say 4 if he said 6. This is a video of the very end of the cowboy game.
