Next we did a spelling test.

Now we are doing Literacy. This week we have been reading non-fiction books.

Then we did the daily mile.After we came in we were doing maths.

At  your table we were playing elimanation.Then we all went into are groups and followed are task board.

We all choose a question from the assessment wall to answer.

Next we were doing engineering.

Here are the finished products.

Then we went outside to play with are catapult before the bell rang.

in ICT with mr green we were learning  to type on dance mat

In the afternoon as part of STEM week, we were building shelters to help us survive from a storm.

We we needed to stay dry from the wind, rain and the ground.

Some groups survived and some groups died!

Primary 6 / 7 are working on their typing skills. Mr Green is looking for the correct starting finger position, accurate typing and an improved typing speed!

this morning we had Mrs Rutherford  for pe we were practising basket ball 🏀 skills. by bounceing the ball and switching hands to bounce  it.  Then we played rock paper scissors with our body’s

After break in maths we were learning about number lines so some people were finding the mistake on the board and writ out the correct answer then some people got called out to be blindfolded and put the post it note 📝 with a number on it and put it in the correct ✔Place on the number line.➕➖✖➗1⃣2⃣3⃣

After lunch in outdoor learning

We started by designing our own waterproofs using bin bags.

We were finding sticks to build things  in the school and we also played 2 games outside it  was to try and sneak up to the teacher and they were in the middle of the circle and they were not allowed to see us move. The other game was to hug a tree and you were safe for tig.🌲 And we Had a great  Monday.  😀😜

This morning  we were doing some comprehension. We all had different sheats depending on what group you are in.

If you were finished you were to keep your self occupied.   

After occupieing are self we did the daily mile.Then Dylan showed us the music he made.

Next  Mr McMullan checked the guses for the zoomed in picture and   Stuey got it right. The picture was a picture of a wall.

Then Mr McMullan was showing us how to use are glow.

Then we went to I.C.T to practice using glow.

This morning in maths we were learning about numberlines and were guessing how many numbers were between each numbers

We also had different stations with velcro and math games.

In writing we were learning about planning /creating  an interesting setting

Today in health and well being we did the warrior one pose.

in IDL we are continuing to think of branding names for our honey company we are now going to make candles and lip balm which is being sold soon so keep your eyes peeled.

On Friday p6s must bring outdoor clothes and shoes and everyone on Tuesday 9th October

Today when we got in Mrs Rutherford was teaching us Christianity.

 Here are some facts.

They go to church and on the windows there is something that say something special. After when we finished we got to go to P.E.

In gym we learned how to use our outer and inner side of our foot.

After break we did a spelling text to see what words we knew and to see how we fix it for next time. There was 2 lists.

When we finished the spelling text we moved on to a summary. For a good summary you need People Places Parts and if you want to add in your own opinion.

in maths we were learning about number lines and how to create them.

We identified that a number line had to have a big line in the middle, divisions and numbers which are equally spaced.

Finally during choir some children were creating a music video for the choir song “a million dreams”
