Science Week 2018

Today is the start of Science week 2018!

We are planning a science experiment which will be carried out in the kitchen on Thursday.

We are performing two investigations  into the speed of cooking pasta

  1. which type of liquid will cook it the quickest
    • tea
    • coffee
    • water
  2. which type of pasta will cook the quickest
    • shells
    • twists
    • spaghetti

Today we planned the variables – this means all of the things that you can possibly change for example – temperature, amount of liquid, type of pot.

On Wednesday we will finalise the plans and then carry out the experiment on Thursday.

In PE we were building up our strength and flexibility with gymnastics.

We were jumping, crawling, climbing and rolling.
