Homework week beginning 21st November

Langauge

We have been working on our fluency when we are reading words that we don’t immediately recognise. We identified that we need to sound out words and we need to reread them multiple times.

For homework, practice one of the tongue twisters.

double bubble gum bubbles double

sixty silly sisters simply singing

Children have also been given a print out of other tongue twisters to try.

Punctuation – in writing on Friday, we are going to be assessing our punctuation. For homework you need to make a punctuation poster – you have to choose 1 piece of punctuation that you think is the best and explain why. You also need to use it in a sentence.

Maths

We are starting our new maths topic of multiplying and dividing. For homework choose at least 3 of the multiplying sums from below and draw number lines to show how they work
