Today in maths we were using money as a context to help us understanding how to take away from a number with zeros in it.
We need to exchange one from the column to the left and make ten of the thing we need.
eg 100 – 11 = change 1 hundred into 10 10s and take 1 away. This leaves 90. Then take 1 of the tens and turn it into 10 units. Then take 1 away and this leaves 8 tens and 9 units = 89.
100-11=89

In PE we warmed up with “rock, paper, scissors” with our bodies. We are working on our hand and eye coordination on a Thursday. Next week we will start badminton!
