On our last full day of school we enjoyed a fierce water fight with Mr Green then refuelled with some tasty slushies. What a day!

Soak the staff!
The highlight of today was definitely getting the opportunity to soak our school management team with wet sponges 🧽🤗😪🤭…this was today’s Countdown to Summer treat. Poor Miss Ferguson, Mrs Thomson and Mr Green!
Some of us presented our research on inspirational footballers and enjoyed more time outdoors.

Our P7s enjoyed their visit to Greenfaulds High School this morning and came back full of news – especially about the great lunches!
The P6s worked hard creating fact files on different countries participating in the Euros. We hope you like them.
Monday 14th June
P6/7b took it easy today, with the Cinema in the Hall event this morning and watching Scotland play the Czech Republic this afternoon ⚽️🏴🏴🏴.
Tomorrow is the P7 visit to Greenfaulds High School, where they will have lunch. School uniform to be worn please, no hoodies. Thanks.
Friday 11th June
Today we learned the exciting story of Eric Liddell’s Gold medal in the 1924 Paris Olympic Games. The P7s have enjoyed a fun week of outdoor activities, thanks to Mr Green and Mrs. Thomson. They then tried their hand at leading the rest of the class in outdoor PE…
We are hoping to be able to watch the Scotland game on Monday afternoon, but please remember that school uniform should still be worn. The P7s are due to go to visit Greenfaulds High School on Wednesday, when school uniform must also be worn – no hoodies!

Week beginning 7th June
This week we have been learning more about Japan, looking at the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We recreated a famous piece of Japanese artwork. Here are some of us working hard and showing some of our finished results.
The P7s are enjoying various outdoor activities wearing their new hoodies.

We were learning about pregnancy, birth and caring for children this morning which rounded off our RSHP topic with Mrs McMillan this morning.
This afternoon was our turn for “Picnic at the Park”. What a great afternoon in the sunshine. Check out our photos to see the fun we had!
